Based in Point-a-Pitre, Air Caraibes is the airline of the French Overseas Territory of Guadeloupe. Its network has focus cities in Fort-de-France (Martinique) and Paris (Orly airport), and it’s focused on flights from the French capital and a number of destinations in the Caribbean. It recently acquired both the variants of the Airbus A350, -900 and -1000, which flanked a fleet of Airbus A330-300. Almost all the widebody fleet of A350 and A330 is in a three-class (Madras Business, Caraibes Premium Economy and Soleil Economy), high-density internal configuration, with ten-abreast (instead of the usual nine) in Economy on the A350 and nine-abreast )instead of the usual eight) in Economy on the A330, resulting in particularly narrow seats in this class, also considering the length of flights frequently exceeding the nine hours (Photo Wikimedia Commons / Pedro Aragao)
