Air Europa is Spain’s third largest airline after Iberia and Vueling and the main competitor of IB on long-haul services. Its network includes a small number of destinations in the US and a huge number of cities in the Caribbean, Central and South America. Before the Covid pandemic it was proceeding to complete the renewal of its widebody fleet, by substituting the A330s with the B787s. Its Business Class is not the same on all the Dreamliners: the smaller-8 series cabin features a 2+2+2 cross-section, while the larger -9 series cabin sports a much more comfortable and spacious 1+2+1 (Photo Wikimedia Commons / Alan Wilson)
