Air France is one of the largest airlines in Europe and, together with KLM which is 100% owned, it forms the third largest group in the continent, following Lufthansa Group and IAG. It is, with British Airways, one of only two airlines in the world to have operated supersonic commercial flights using the iconic Concorde. As a consequence of the traffic plunge caused by the Covid widespread, AF decided to retire from service its A380 Superjumbo fleet.
