The national airline of the Seychelles halted long-haul operations in 2018 and today flies a regional network including destinations in the neighbouring islands (Antananarivo and Mauritius), South Africa (Johannesburg) and India (Mumbai). The only scheduled domestic flight is to the island of Praslin, operated with 19-seats DHC-6 Twin Otter 400. Abu Dhabi- based Etihad Airways owns 40% of the carrier, with the remaining 60% in the hands of the State of Seychelles
