British Airways is the flagship carrier of the United Kingdom. It is one of the founding members of the Oneworld Alliance and is part of the International Airlines Group. It is one of only two airlines in the world (together with Air France) to have operated regular supersonic flights with the Concorde, from 1976 to 2003. It has been also the only legacy carrier in the world to offer an all-Business Class flight, operated on a daily basis by an Airbus A318 between London city airport and New York JFK airport: the flight inherited flight numbers BA1/BA2 from the Concorde, but it was discontinued following the Covid. In July 2020 the airline announced the retirement of its Boeing 747-400 fleet, citing the downturn in air travel demand as a consequence of the pandemic (Photo British Airways)
