Skymark Airlines is a Japanese low-cost carrier based at Tokyo Haneda airport. It flies an all-B737 fleet with aircraft in a single-class configuration. Its network includes a dozen domestic routes plus Saipan in the Mariana Islands, which are part of the United States. In the past the airline operated widebody aircraft too, in the form of the Boeing 767-300 and Airbus A330, and even ordered six Airbus A380-800 in 2010 with plans to start flights to Europe and North America. Though, its financial position deteriorated afterwards and in 2015 it filed for bankruptcy. After that, the carrier was stabilized as a low-cost, almost completely domestic airline. It’s on-time performance is one of the best in the industry (Photo Wikimedia Commons / Shacho0822)
