Swiss was born in 2002 after the bankruptcy of Swissair. In 2007 it has been acquired by the Lufthansa Group. The Zurich-Based carrier is one of the few in the world to offer First Class (featuring closed suites) across the entire long-haul fleet made of Boeing 777-300, Airbus A340-300 and Airbus A330-300. Conversely, it does not feature a Premium Economy cabin. In July 2016 it became the first airline in the world to deploy the Airbus A220 (Photo Wikimedia Commons / Martin Oertle)
