Wideroe is the largest regional airline in Scandinavia, with a network including some 40 destinations within Norway and seven abroad in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the UK. Its fleet is based on all the four series (-100, -200-200 and -Q400) of the popular Dash 8 turboprop aircraft, but in 2018 the carrier entered the jet age for the first time in its 86 year-long history by acquiring three Embraer ERJ 190-E2, the newest generation of the Brazilian regional jet family.
