May 22, 2020 / Easyjet (U2) announced the restart of flight operations effective June 15, following almost three months having all its fleet grounded because of the Covid pandemic. Europe’s second largest low-cost carrier (LCC) will resume activity starting from three Countries: the UK, France and Switzerland. Initial network will include domestic services within Great Britain and France, plus flights from the two Countries and Switzerland to cities in Spain and Portugal. Some 26 routes will be active from June 15, with further to follow “as demand will increase” announced the airline in a note. (Photo easyjet)
