April 9, 2021 / Eurowings (EW) will begin non-stop flights to Russia and Georgia in the summer, with the airline launching three new direct routes from Düsseldorf (DUS) to Russia for the first time in July, flying passengers to Ekaterinburg (SVX)  in Siberia, Krasnodar (KRR) in Southern Russia, and Tbilisi (TBS), Georgia capital.

The flights add to the Lufthansa low-cost subsidiary’s already extensive Visit Friends and Relatives service, which includes flights to Greece, Croatia, Algeria, and Turkey, among other destinations.

Passengers will be able to travel directly from Düsseldorf to Krasnodar in southern Russia beginning July 19. Flights will take place on Mondays and Fridays, with a return flight in between. Every Saturday morning beginning July 24, Eurowings will transport passengers from Düsseldorf to Ekaterinburg, Siberia. The return flight leaves the same day in the afternoon, arriving in Düsseldorf in the evening.

Eurowings will begin service between Düsseldorf and Tbilisi, Georgia capital, on July 21. An Airbus A320 will fly from the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia to Georgia on Wednesdays and Sundays. On Wednesdays and Sundays, return flights to Düsseldorf are also available. (Photo Marco Macca)
