June 4, 2020 / Luke Air (ICAO code: LKA) is a new Italian operator, expected to take to the skies in 2021, as revealed by Airways magazine’s website, www.airwaysmag.com. Managed by the Uvet group of entrepreneur Luca Patanè, the new airline will be the heir of Blue Panorama Airlines.
A clear reference to its owner’s name, Luke Air will offer connections to holiday destinations in the Caribbean and Africa, departing from Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO), using a fleet of 4 Airbus A330-200 which features 12 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 252 seats in Economy.
As revealed by airwaysmag.com, the business class armchair will offer a pitch of 78 inches and a width of 22 inches while in Economy the seat configuration is 2-4-2 and each armchair has a width of 18 inches and a pitch of 32 inches. The aircraft will have wifi connectivity.
