Hawaiian on the move: starts three new non-stop destinations from Honolulu

December 10, 2020 / As its overseas (Pacific) networks remains locked-down as the effect of the Covid pandemic, Hawaiian Airlines (HA) announces the expansion of its Mainland US destinations portfolio. The Honolulu-based carrier will serve Orlando (ORL) with two weekly services starting on March 11, 2021, Ontario (ONT) with five weekly flights beginning March 16, and Austin (AUS) with two weekly frequencies from April 21. Additionally, HA will introduce daily flights between Kahului (OGG) on the island of Maui and Long Beach (LGB) (a destination already served from Honolulu) from March 9.

Flights to Orlando, which will be the airline’s third East Coast destination alongside Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK), and Austin will be operated with Hawaiian’s two-class Airbus A330-200 offering 18 First Class seats in a 2+2+2 cross-section, with 68 Extra Comfort and 192 Main Cabin seats in Economy. Services to Ontario from Honolulu and Long Beach from Kahului will use the carrier’s Airbus A321neo featuring 16 First Class seats alongside 44 Extra Comfort and 129 Main Cabin seats.
