After years of financial ups and downs, following the Covid Pandemic Alitalia has been fully nationalized. Once demand will grow towards normality, the Italian carrier is expected to proceed with a renewal of the fleet, with the Boeing 787 considered as the probable substitute of the B777 and A330 on long-haul services. Food onboard, especially in Magnifica/Business Class, has received several accolades through the years. On the narrowbody fleet (A321, A320, A319, ERJ-190. ERJ-175), front cabin rows of seats have larger pitch. In recent years, AZ has performed among top ones in Europe considering on-time performance (Photo Wikimedia Commons / Alessandro Ambrosetti)
